Both have entry level graphics cards... even the dual (Crossfire) 6620G + 7450M according to NotebookCheck only gives you the performance level of Intel HD Graphics 3000 to a Radeon HD 6490M - plus, you have some mirco stuttering. On that alone, I would go with the second choice but the GeForce GT 520MX is still only an entry level card - so don't expect perfect gaming in high or ultra settings.

Depends on the card but do a notebookcheck(dot)net check to see what kinds of games it can run... they give a lot of benchmarks on the different GPUs, framerates and levels of play.

if i put a nice graphics card in my laptop will it boost its gaming performance by alot?
laptopguide (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
One I was looking at had the geforce 630m card which is sort of middle of the road and I doubt if you will get 60 fps on Ultra...

Will the ivy bridge dv6 run WoW with Ultra settings at 60 fps?
laptopguide (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Under $800... that's going to be hard, unless you try the Alienware M11x and you should be able to get that under $800 but 60 fps will cost you more. Read somewhere that HP Pavilion dv6 can run that game at 40 fps... you might want to check out the new ivy bridge dv6... run you around $900 but shop around you might get a sale somewhere. Sorry I couldn't help you.
