@AzureParagon again, consider that.the polarity switching sounds incredibly simple, auto-firing is *NOT* int the touhou series, and "power releasing" sounds like bombs.on top of that, Ikaruga's only got one game, whereas Touhou has 13, not counting patches, spin-offs, and updates.on top of that, I've seen gameplay footage, and Touhou's game "Perfect Cherry Blossom" has *MUCH* more in the way of "bullet density"...and the hitboxes don't cheat!

@VulcanHeStan Ikaruga never uses power ups. Your main mechanics are switching polarity, auto-firing, and power releasing.

i love f-zero gx, 1 of my favorite games of all time. dont get me started on hard story mode (im looking at you chapters 1, 3 & 7)

@MrSupahLink 2D shooters are the most difficult single player genre (in terms of reflexes, coordination) out there... i guess for the sake of simplicity they picked only one, otherwise the list would all be shooters.I mean come on, i suck and i was able to beat shinobi on hard, i doubt i'll ever 1cc gradius v on very hard...

wait, Ikaruga gives you power-ups to help you out?it's official, it's now the easiest Danmaku ever!Touhou doesn't give you new weapons, it just makes your initial one stronger, plus the Bullet density...Ikaruga < Touhou

I beat Devil May Cry 3 on Dante must die mode regular edition. I did however quit playing the game for a couple of months because I could not beat mission 19 with the freaking horse boss at the end of the lvl.
