"We are like dwarfs sitting on the shoulders of giants. We see more, and things that are more distant, than they did, not because our sight is superior or because we are taller than they, but because they raise us up, and by their great stature add to ours." John of Salisbury, 1159Carl Sagan passed away, but still he nourishes us with his wisdom and kindness. Technology makes it happen. Thanks to all the great minds in history and those today who are striving for the truth behind the horizon.

Galileo said: "All truths are easy to understand once they are discovered; the point is to discover them." We need to start working together to discover the truths of life that we all have in common. This is how we can unite and focus on our essential similarities instead of our dividing differences. Search for "Truth Contest" in Google and go to the website, then click on "The Present" to open it. What it says will turn this world right-side up if it reaches enough people.

The 162 people that disliked this video, are the same ones that would have preferred we had stayed in the caves.

This should be showed as an ad for NASA for fucks sake. Why doesn't anyone sponsor to show this?

I find myself difficult to blend in society today and even don't want to go back anymore. All the suffering, all the hatred, all the nations conflicts are stemmed from scarcity, self-interest and ignorance. We, human in our infancy, are time to change our tranditional way of thinking, or we perish. Check out a video of "Paradise or oblivion" from The Venus Project

Whew! That was intense. I could listen to Carl Sagan read the phone book all day. |
